(1) Casey’s Trauma Case

Casey flew a very sick trauma patient with a twist. What would you have done in a similar situation?

Welcome

This is our website. Medics with Cigars, where we plan on talking about Critical Care medicine with long transport times in remote areas and austere environments. Presented in an informal discussion between friends while we enjoy a cigar. We are enjoying having the conversations and we hope you enjoy listening to them.

We, Casey and Rian, are both Paramedics in Northern Canada, working full time for a ground and flight EMS system. With very different backgrounds and training from two different countries we tend to have a lot of conversations at work that we are bringing home and to the interwebs.

Take a look around, listen to a conversation, tell us what we get wrong and smoke a cigar with us.

Thanks.
